looks like O'Brien and Southee failed in fairly epic fashionHe was off the field for a little while. He came back on at the end though, I think.

You simply can not base his Test claims on getting smacked at the death in ODIs or in this (effectively) 20/20. Crap call tbh. Can't believe I joined the chorus for Bracken to get a go in tests. He's bowling utter **** this summer, and does **** all without an express bloke at the other end to put the ginger up the batsman. Piss hom off.
Because it's a nominal ODI, they have to bowl 20.If there's less than 20 can there be a result on D/L at some point, or do they have to bowl the full 20?
And Diamanti.looks like O'Brien and Southee failed in fairly epic fashion
Goes without saying though.And Diamanti.

True.Goes without saying though.
Yeah but you gotta admit he's looked less than threatening with the new cherry this summer too. Not been spanked but he's not looked like taking wickets. Early wickets was one of the hallmarks of his bowling when he was bowling really well. You simply can not base his Test claims on getting smacked at the death in ODIs or in this (effectively) 20/20. Are you referring to ODIs?But you can base it on his having bowled mud all summer, surely.
I'm not convinced he has a choice. Was impressed by his bravery bowling about 3 different sorts of slower ball in his first over in international cricket.
New Zealand as a whole don't seem to rate him in one day cricket. He has a ridiculously crap record against them.Guptill does not rate Johnson it seems.
