Yeah should be enough. South Africa just about chased 270 odd here which was a ground record and that wicket was better for batting.

**** call from bucknor. Maybe he should be sent home....
Anyway, welcome back Huss - some great pull shots off balls not that short. Got his mojo back- augurs well for SA and the Ashes.

Think this will be a bit beyond us, even if Broom and Elliott bat like heroes again.

We better not lose this series...

Yup, hate to keep harping on about it but I reckon Vettori missed a trick not batting first on this SCG pitch, especially being 2-0, they could have afforded to bat confidently batting first. Instead he's put Aussie in on a flat wicket & looks like their confidence is back.

Still kind of a mini comeback from NZ in the last 3 overs, Australia were looking at 320 for all money with 3 overs to go

Aussies 20 short here after the rousing start. But I think it should be more than enough.
Bull****. It's the scg. They've got heaps - it gets harder ro bat as the innings, and match, goes on. If they lose they will need to bowl as bad as my team did yesterday arvo.

Fingers crossed we can pull through, problem is we can potentially do it rather than be reasonably confident like all the other 300 chases.

Amazing what happens when you pick some QUALIFIED specialist batsmen and actually put 11 players together in an order that makes some sort of sense

Win or lose, at least Australia have:

a. An opening pair that are good enough batsmen to play international cricket;

b. Hussey back in prime form; and

c. Blooded a pretty good looking young batsman in Ferguson - hopefully, he'll retain enough form to get a couple of years exposure in ODIs and some good returns in fc cricket
