Well done Ross Taylor. Big effort. Seems a good bloke with it too.

And happy he could bring the record up at a true shrine of cricket. The SCG is basically Lord's incarnate. Cricket's home away from home. Better to do it here than in front of 14 people at Hamilton or something.

While I love the compliment to Cummins here, if you don't think a bloke you've picked to be a batsman in Test cricket can block a 135kph length ball on off stump that doesn't move of the straight then I don't know what to tell you

If Colin throws his wicket away getting caught in the ring/on the boundary this innings then I'd be finishing his Test career tbh. Needs to show some fight, never know could be an unexpected amount of rain come overnight.
