Indeed - we tried hard to get out but didn't succeed.Had a horrible feeling we'd be one or two down by the break, so I'll take that.
Haven't figured it out but his average is 38.5 so probably at least 75@Hendrix - what does Latham need to win the bet?
I hope you winHaven't figured it out but his average is 38.5 so probably at least 75
If he dropped a catch though it would be a debacle. A good grade cricketer you would expect to be a decent fielder and in season.Seriously though that Hayden tweet is awful. He presumably doesn't have an issue when some random local cricketer who isn't State level is used as a sub fielder, so why is it any different? Are massage therapists not respectable people in his opinion?
Yeah this.If he dropped a catch though it would be a debacle. A good grade cricketer you would expect to be a decent fielder and in season.
And fat lazy bastards like Ranatunga who after two balls would stay "whew, my leg hurts" and call for a runner. Also being able to use players like Guptill for runners is completly unfair.
Presumably he's not a bad fielder or they would just use someone else. He has played 2nd XI cricket for Victoria. If he dropped a catch though it would be a debacle. A good grade cricketer you would expect to be a decent fielder and in season.
There are also so many camera angles and in this case Llong didn't get the one (whether through his fault or someone else's) that clearly showed the deflection. To look at multiple camera angles quickly you simply need more people. That or train a neural network to do it /answertoeverythingI just think back to a couple of TMO decisions in the World Cup, where one of the ref's was clearly wrong with their interpretation of what had happened, and the other was able to talk them around to the correct pov.
I wouldn't call that a good thing tbh imo.Presumably he's not a bad fielder or they would just use someone else. He has played 2nd XI cricket for Victoria.
That's clearly the subtext isn't it. Just yet more dire ultra-macho australian 'team culture' from the worst generationSeriously though that Hayden tweet is awful. He presumably doesn't have an issue when some random local cricketer who isn't State level is used as a sub fielder, so why is it any different? Sub fielders never wear the baggy green. It's a different cap. What I didn't like was him wearing the baggy green. Why do that and then make hue and cry about the test cap given before the test debut of players.
