Had a horrible feeling we'd be one or two down by the break, so I'll take that.

Hazelwood is such a huge asset for Australian cricket. He can deliver for them for long. Should be handled with a lot of care.

Seriously though that Hayden tweet is awful. He presumably doesn't have an issue when some random local cricketer who isn't State level is used as a sub fielder, so why is it any different? Are massage therapists not respectable people in his opinion?
If he dropped a catch though it would be a debacle. A good grade cricketer you would expect to be a decent fielder and in season.

Even if we only post 150 - we will come out fired up to defend it. This match is game on. And this could be an epic test (and in some ways already has been). What a way to start day night cricket.

Presumably he's not a bad fielder or they would just use someone else. He has played 2nd XI cricket for Victoria.

I just think back to a couple of TMO decisions in the World Cup, where one of the ref's was clearly wrong with their interpretation of what had happened, and the other was able to talk them around to the correct pov.
There are also so many camera angles and in this case Llong didn't get the one (whether through his fault or someone else's) that clearly showed the deflection. To look at multiple camera angles quickly you simply need more people. That or train a neural network to do it /answertoeverything

What I didn't like was him wearing the baggy green. Why do that and then make hue and cry about the test cap given before the test debut of players.

That's clearly the subtext isn't it. Just yet more dire ultra-macho australian 'team culture' from the worst generation

Have to look hard to find a more embarrassing DRS moment:

1. Comms didn't say who reviewed
2. Took forever
3. Wrong decision
4. Lyon was walking
5. They reviewed for LBW and showed the wrong hawkeye footage
6. Had to see bat pad bending over and showing his arse multiple times

What a joke of a system it is. Is it better than nothing? yeah probably. But its still pathetic.
