As long as no one gets injured it will be a successful outing.I'm glad we didn't get the 340-360 we should have. It will be interesting to see Craig and Santner having to defend a score like this.
i didnt see the start of new zealands innings but the talk around these day night games has always been that the pink ball swings more at night.the pink ball definitely swings.
Not sure whether it's a case of the ball swinging more or the batsmen picking it up slightly later so it looks like it moves more. Seems to be a touch of trouble picking it up early under lights.i didnt see the start of new zealands innings but the talk around these day night games has always been that the pink ball swings more at night.
tbf though you'd back southee and boult to get more swing out of any ball than siddle, steketee and behrendorff
I think Voges will do well at home. We're going to need Smith and Warner to make, like, a thousand runs each in this series.
lol we've been wondering that for about 4 years. He gets fairly consistent defence from Flem, and to be fair his role has changed significantly as he's no longer an opening bowler. And he did decently against SL...but yeah. Neither he, nor Henry, nor Wagner inspire a huge degree of confidence as 3rd seamer.Where has Dougie's hooping swing gone?
