This feels like another one of those series where the visiting side gets thumped on the first couple of days and never recovers.

Disappointing tstl.

They just look so under prepared and under cooked..as if they weren't aware they were supposed to turn up for this series

I don't get the whole "the physios are working on him" thing in modern sport.

What can they do if he has an injury? Absolutely nothing.

Weirdest profession.

I mean. There are various things that can go wrong. Some of which they can handle on the spot.

Probably been mentioned, but NZ would definitely prefer to be playing at the other 3 test venues, in terms of conditions. It's annoying cause you imagine the Windies would just get smashed wherever.

I actually thought the Gabba would kind of suit them; needed to win the toss though I guess.

Other than Hobart, the Gabba would be the ground most suited to them in Aus.

I'll say it again, why bother picking an off spinner? Would be as well picking a 4th seamer then getting Williamson to chuck a few.

Williamson actually looked a better bowler yesterday. I'd almost pick an extra batsman instead of Craig. I can't see a guy like Henry adding much that Southee, Boult, Bracewell, Neesham aren't already offering.
