Bwahahaha for real.

The West Indies literally wouldn't be this bad now, thank god this is just the appetizer for a tougher opponent.

He averaged like 10 though and could barely bat by the end.
I dunno, should've been obvious to anyone who'd watched him bat over the previous year or so that he'd struggle. That series he had in UAE made it shockingly obvious that he was shot.

Nah he looked good in the WC, just kept giving it away when set. That should have been a tell that he was mentally falling away because in his peak he'd never do that at all, but he still looked to be batting okay.

And the lost tosses, sabotaged prep and poor umpiring decisions. We never had a chance.
When I'm frustrated by poor umpiring decisions I try to think back to some that have gone NZ's way. Kane's century on debut against India benefited from a nick to the keeper that wasn't given. It cheers me up anyway.

You've told this joke already. For real. These games are being decided on the toss. You'd be 2 down at least had Llong turned on his hearing aid.

today we were treated to childhood idol chris cairns' disgrace and lance armstrong comparison headlining the news and this game.

i know we have a tendency to insert narratives into sport where they shouldn't be, and the 45 all out was never my lowest point supporting a cricket team (being smashed by the windies and the immediate aftermath of taylor's sacking are mine) but it will be interesting to see what this becomes because baz keeps talking about building a new nz narrative etc and this doesn't help much.

Well as we all know, that's cricket. Even add another couple of wickets to the score @ 3 for 273 with Warner still at the wicket really makes **** all difference.

At least KW has more test centuries than Bradman at the same age, is the man Alan Border would pick to bat for his life, and is going to be better than Tendulkar. When you have a living God in your side, winning is only a secondary consideration.
This is amazing. I think all this posting is a level/parody. Surely it can't be...

I'd love to argue against this, but struggling tbh.....
Pfffft....NZ have gone 7 series unbeaten. How have the Windies been doing champ?
In the last 30 years, how many touring sides have won at the Gabba?
