No we don't

Man should've gone down the Williamson out with a stomach bug route
You had the right idea, but even without Johnson Australian fans wouldn't be that worried.

Williamson would've been a bit obvious. Should've gone for someone like Latham or Watling to make the Kiwis really **** themselves.

Nah small daddy Kane would have been perfect. We are talking about the initial shock here and as soon as you read it you just don't bother to read who the poster is you just panic and click the link and when realize it, the swearing at Gobster begins.

**** could've been my Pieta

Have to say I'm impressed SteveNZ took the time to travel to every major cricketing nation and determine the collective cricketing knowledge of the causal fans. Please impart more of your higher knowledge on us foolish Australians
You're also defensive and unaware of your fallibilities. There's another one.

Williamson/Smith and Williamson/Warner both paying around $15 for the high bat double

put some money on both and hedged me bets

Being old enough to say "I remember when Smith was a gimmicky legspinner and Kane could barely average 30"

I mean hell, by the time they finish Cook might have been the leading run scorer in Tests for some years, bowlers will be augmented with cybernetic implants in their knees, stumps will cease to exist and be replaced with holograms, the West Indies and Zimbabwe will have degenerated into worse than associate nations, umpires will be replaced with cyborg's with super vision, Ireland will be a test nation, and Shane Watson will be coaching Australia as is his destiny.

Then again I can't claim to have watched cricket as fanatically as I do for as long as some, I can't imagine how the older battlers here feel.
Watched Sachin from when he moved his highest ODI score from the 50s to the 70s and cheered it along. Watched when Murali used to be be an average bowler. Watching Steven Smith still gives me so much joy. As does watching some one like Yasir Shah. Wish I had seen some of the greats of yesteryears. Some how, cricket keeps giving more pleasure.

Also, is there a market where I can put $5 on Hazlewood getting injured mid-game?
What's happened with Hazelwood? Looked so off colour in the previous test. Far cry from the promise he was showing a year and more before that.

Reminds me of when Lukic asked if there was an agency he could bet $100 on Tim Simona getting injured, I said there wasn't, then Simona got injured. He was bleating haha, would have been paying at least 10-1 I reckon.

Neither of the teams would want a bowler break down mid test whether it is Southee or Hazelwood. It's such a tricky decision whether to play some one or not in such a circumstance with the series on the line.

Oh. What I mean is, he was a young, bristling lad when he came along. Just looked a bit fatigued or not 100% last game. Seeing his young promise, I would love to see him develop more eventually.
