Great effort by NZ today, thoroughly deserved to win. How the **** we got from 2 to 9 down in record time is a question the middle order have to ask themselves...but NZ bowled very well and maintained pressure.

I'd like to say a special congratulations to all the die hard Kiwi fans on this forum.
It's a bloody hard row to hoe being a NZ cricket supporter. There are so many people who are quick to dismiss the NZ cricket team as being rubbish. Especially fellow Kiwis. But it's times like these that make putting up with all the crap worth it.

OMFG. What a day!!!! In the past I've held on to hope in these kind of situations, but I genuinely believed we were stuffed today. Unbelievable.
Was absolute agony not knowing what was happening - went into a training at 4pm, with Aus 211/9. Sprinted back up the stairs at the end of it, got to my computer and my head exploded.

You need players with ability to back it up unfortunately. Not that our players are displaying any ticker at all when the going gets tough.

What Crazy Sam said. Every time we think we've reached our lowest ebb, virtually the only changes they make to the batting line-up - which has been the problem behind the large majority of the issues - are when the selectors' hands are forced by injury. Hopefully if Marsh and Watson are back in time (will they be??) for India, that might change.

Had a big bet on NZ to win the series. Had a smaller bet on them to win this match though; ended up breaking almost exactly even on my series betting which included a few failed top innings run scorer bets and things of that type.
