Has Siddle gained ridiculous amounts of pace recently or what? 153kph, I don't ever remember him being that quick!

Siddle to Southee is exactly WHY NZ need a fast bowler....this is how you get rid of tailenders, soften them up with some intimation, then the footwork goes

I remember him getting up to 150 prior to this tbh, but yes, he's slightly quicker today

Have seen Siddle clocked 150Km/h+ in a ODI so he can get up there. But yeah, massive differential between the speeds is suspect for mine, notwithstanding the differences in lengths.

Good call to get Lyon on post-lunch. Would've been tempting to put Pattinson on but Southee was never going to last long against the offie

I absolutely cannot explain that to you. I eagerly await Lawnbowls Littlejohn's explanation.

Probably due to that new selection formula rubbish? And sadly, I'm not even joking there. Remember they said they might add another pace bowler to the mix..why? Why not a batsman, to send a rocket up our top 5?
Exactly. I think Arnel is a good bowler, and has been great for ND, but he isn't what the bowling attack requires right now. All we're doing is removing a challenging bowler from domestic cricket.

I'd be tempted to go in with five bowlers and drop one of these ****s to prove that no, despite our lack of depth, no one is immortal. I don't think the batsmen aren't trying, but they don't have the extra incentive batsmen from other countries have knowing there is a guy in the wings who can replace you.

Watch the hundreds rack up if one of the guys playing in this test was hitting runs for fun domestically.

Wow, getting wickets against NZ is ridiculously easy for international bowlers whether they're good or not. Test wickets shouldn't be this cheap
