CD don't need to be drafting anyone, it is going to be tough enough for selectors to leave out players already in the current squad. As Flem274* alluded to they may seriously have to look at leaving out two of their best performers from this competition in Noema-Barnett & Rance. Personally I think they are both must picks after each of them having great campaigns and I think Thompson & Weston will probably be the two that miss out. Though probability suggests possible upcoming injuries will make the selectors job alot easier but at this stage Worker will be the 14th man in the squad not sure how many they can take

CD can **** right off. Already nicked Noema-Barnett off Otago.

The teams had 15 official squad members last time, but I remember Otago had some other guys on top of that who played some of the warm-ups, cause of national duties for other players.
Would have been injury cover too.

He was okay with the ball but he better not continue to bat as high as five. Did well in the final and scored 30 odd in another game but I personally don't think he's much to write home about. Handy reserve. CD obviously think different though.

I'll be pissed if Thompson is left out. Sure he's not test and probably not ODI standard but he's still a good bowler, especially in 20/20 cricket. Rance did very well but I dunno, I'm not convinced. If the ball doesn't swing I don't know if he has a plan B.

Its good to have these selection headaches though. I'm quietly confident we'll do well. We have the best 20/20 bowler in the world (I hope we do) and one of the best 20/20 batsmen.

Not Terrible
Wellington will give you a spinner if you give us one of Taylor or Sinclair. Have Houghton we're practically giving him away!

Bring back Hay.

Jeez Taylor looked like a God in that final though, just took Auckland's pretty decent attack totally apart. Napier bowled some real rippers.

Kitchen sink impressed me but I was most impressed with Neesham. Some genuinely good signs for the lad.
