***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2018/19

I hear from guys from first class rating Nathan's batting better than his bowling. They reckon he'll end up a batsman that can bowl. His bowling is too good to ignore.

Fantastic result for Otago, to go straight to the finals is what was needed for them. ND and Otago hard hit with the bc and A series probably taking out 10 of their domestic players.

Let's be honest his behaviour is not different from roughly 30 percent of NZers age 18-55, just a whole lot more public.

We have a massive problem in this country.

if people rate smiths batting better than his bowling then he must really be good because when i saw him bowl in under 19s i was ready to call it then - nz opening bowler in tests

Akl 58/5. Welly shouldn't lose from here. Newton with 4.

Firebirds; bringing it home since 2018.

On Finn Allen.

Quite reasonable to relegate a teenage almost debutant back to A cricket after a dry run to regroup his game. But the disappointing thing is that it happened at a time when Auckland were without Munro, Guptill, Chapman, Philips, CdG. It's quite possible that will be the last we see of him this season, regardless.

Enrol at Otago University young man .....

Auckland are a chance after all, after recovering to 236 and now dismissing the comp's top run scorer.

Time for Neesham to score a 100.

His bowling will still get smashed, imo. He's finally figured out how to get to a hundred this season which is promising, though. His domestic one day record has him averaging around 40 with the bat and 25 with the ball, which is impressive. Probably earned himself another run at least.

Last checked score when Jimmy was 70* - match winner to score 120* from there with only two other players contributing 40s.

Even if his bowling still sucks, the NZ ODI side can easily fit him in at 6 if he's able to score runs.

Jimmy's talent was never questioned. No doubt he's good enough to play for BCs. At whose cost though? I think he will make a come back after this. Another bloke transferred from elsewhere doing well for firebirds. Another great pick by firebirds.

Otago has been very refreshing, great to see them making the finals. Particularly using many of the youngsters.

I guess Finn Allen will get a run in the twenty20s no doubt about that.

I'd never knowingly seen Matt McEwan until yesterday's highlights.

That body, all I can say is wow.

Good start by Wellington here ... thought they weren't going to overturn that decision by Bowden, with the soft signal of not out. He hit the cover off it. Broom looking pretty good.

Bit harsh by Wellington to leave Bhula out for Pollard after Bhula has been there all season.
