McClenegananan showing he can bowl economically also.... sorry had to put it out there.

Also why is Beard so highly rated? What kind of opening bowler is braces Esq?

Tuffey's figures of late would suggest he's bowling better than he has done in a long while. Perhaps he's regained that form he showed for the BlackCaps earlier in his career, before the bicep injury.

Will ICL players ever be forgiven?

Anyways, McClenananananananananananghan bowling well two games in a row, which is good, because our bowling can't rely on Mason and Thompson, especially when McClenanananananannaghan and Sherlock were getting smashed around (well Sherlock at this point still does, he might turn it around though).

Franklin out to Sinclair for one; he know has two. Sinclair to open the bowling gainst the Indians = element of surprise

Sinclair reinventing himself as a bowler in a last-ditch effort to get in the Black Caps

Speaking of which, did anyone else see the article on Stuff about Sinclair and Papps being disappointed they weren't picked for NZA? Think Sinclair arguably has a case but Papps... doesn't even seem to have scored that many runs lately.

My scoreboard says Crook out to Sinclair for 12...?

Regardless...how the hell does Sinclair have 2 wickets?!

Reeve probably said "Look ****, you can bowl quick but unless you want to look like a total **** when you're picked via public popularity I suggest you bowl on the pitch, here put some of this up your nose..."

Southee did nicely, Martin got smashed. Great to see before the test series 8-)
Martins not good anymore (well he can be rarely), which is probably the norm for a 34 year old seamer. Southee will always smash up domestic line ups provided he's not bowling on State Domestic Highway 1 at Eden Park.

Arnel has decent figures too - anyone think he might pip Martin and debut in Hamilton? That's if they don't go for Jeets of course.

Martin doing everything he can to bowl himself out of contention for the first test. Meanwhile in good news for the test side, Jimmy brings up a patient 50 to get Wellington out of a hole, and Brent Arnel grabs 38/4 to press his claims for inclusion.

Howsie

International Captain
Tim Southee with five, and Arnel get's four.

And good old Mitch, showing that even if he doesn't take wickets he can keep the scoring down.

Good to see Beard making his debut too, he is going to be a very good spinner.

Did anyone know that the ND wicket-keeper Shane Gadson is only 17, and he only just turned 17. Wow.
