So Booth looked at trading Jamal and MPJ this season but ownership torpedoed the deals. Lavine was one of the targets.

Denver are a championship contender this year. The coach should really experiment with more lineups in the remainder of the season, as it's clear the problem with the team is when anyone besides Jokic has to make things happen. But this season is still very much still on the cards, and could happen for them.

Could easily come third and with the top two teams very green in terms of post-season experience and success, the West remains quite open. Equally could slump to the play-in and then lose out in the crapshoot it is.
