Still a bit nostalgic about Rose. Keep watching highlights.

I think 2010/11 was by far my favorite season of NBA since MJ retired. Rose says "why can't I be MVP" just as the Heatles are formed and everyone laughs, JET gets a prophetic championship tattoo before the season starts. Bulls go on the best start they've had since Jordan days including success during the circus tour that we historically sucked at. Off memory I don't think we lost a single season series including going 3-0 against Miami. I watched 80+ bulls games that year and until 2nd round of playoffs they almost never looked like losing and had several come from behind victories. Rose carried the **** out of a very weak offensive team and a weak offensive coach (****ing Bogans at 2) and still got the best record in the league. Rose and Noah were household names and even my mom knew them and would watch games with me.

Oh and the narratives, like a Telemundo soap opera. Big bad Miami bested by a kid from Iglewood. The hype when we blew them out G1 and the meltdowns when we lost the next 4. Underdog Mavs that only had Dirk + roleplayers beat overrated OKC and Lakers to face a freight train in the finals. LeBron shitting the bed after "not 1, not 2, not 3...".

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Many are speculating the Knicks traded Randle as he’s an expiring & they didn’t want to meet his demands while the Twolves wanted out from Towns contract

It’s a weird one for the Knicks as Towns isn’t exactly what they need plus Brunson accepted a discount only to watch the team take on massive deals for KAT & OG

Nah that's bullshit. The cheap owners will always be cheap - they'll just use the second apron as an excuse to do it. That's why they wanted it. The teams willing to spend will still spend, they just might have to dance with the apron a little to avoid being over consecutive years unless they're really in the thick of a championship race.

Well, apparently the luxury tax is why Papa Grousbeck, pressured baby Grousbeck to put the Celtics up for sale, in a round about way.
