Haven’t watched much of Denver this season until the playoffs

GSW is a really bad matchup for them anyway but how the hell did Jokic drag them to a 6th seed?

There’s arguably only 2 healthy guys on the Nuggets roster who get a gig on the Warriors

There's only so much impact a perimeter player can have on defense, which almost every single basketball watcher overrates. It's why Smart winning DPOY is a joke and why you can never take any post social makes about Ben Simmons seriously until Simmons unveils his nutsack and actually plays the 5 on the defensive end.



Here's one of those games - and they still might lose.

Simmons (& Jrue) are light years better than Smart

Gobert is even further ahead of RW3 (whom I like btw) & is exposed every playoffs because Utah can’t defend anyone on the perimeter

Yeah, without Muzz or Mike this roster is diabolical. Moach has played it well to tinker with the rotations but damn, we're wasting the start of a League MVP's prime here.

They need to pray that MPJ comes back and shows something as that extension is horrible otherwise

High risk vs high reward re: paying Mike. People crap on the Kroenkes for not wanting to spend to build a winner but they sanctioned this hoping it gets us over the top. The signs were extremely promising for a while though and I'm not giving up hope on this core yet.

A single perimeter defender is obviously never going to be as valuable as a great rim protector obviously, but with lonzo out Caruso's even more vital. Feel like the bucks don't exploit vuc and DeMar as much as they should tho.

Smart is definitely a weird choice, timelord getting injured probably the only reason he won because they felt they needed to give it to someone on the celtics.

Smart's way more than a 'perimeter defender'.That barrel chest, his tenacity and reading of the game means he can switch on to most NBA players wherever they get the ball and hold his own. He is alot of the reason why Boston's switching defense doesn't breakdown due to ugly mismatches the way a conventional switching defense would.

He's opened the purse for Arsenal after taking on full ownership though. Genuinely seem to be trying there.

There's historical frustration from Nuggets fans regarding his/their reluctance in taking on salary when there were moves to be made to add key pieces (I'm talking AI and Melo era Nuggets). They also made insane trades to shed salary (Camby for a second rounder when he was still a great defensive piece) so the apprehension from fans has history to it.

I’m watching a bit of basketball for the first time this season and it’s not bad, but the timezone is a complete killer. Highlights just don’t work.

Udoka is a really good coach while Nash is about the worst in the league

At least Kyrie tried today but KD played about as badly as it’s possible for a guy of his standard to play

KD's been so bad. Meh shooting splits can happen against a great defensive team but his passing out of double teams has been seriously poor.

Thinking Basketball have put out a really interesting on this series.It points out there's a bunch of plays where good shooters have been left open on the gamble that KD would force a contested shot anyway.
