good article about it - NBA: DeAndre Jordan looks to step out Los Angeles Clippers stars' shadowsI'm not sure I understand why he left LA. I've been out of town with limited internet. We're there reports of in fighting or something?
Yeah true IF it does actually go that high. I just feel its crazy that he is the highest player at the Raptors and I don't especially rate him, although he did well at the Hawks last year.He is when the cap will be nearly 120m in two seasons.
Read an article indicating that they had interest. What would they be shedding to fit him in?saw a report on yahoo news that said the warriors will go after durant when he hits free agency...have any of you heard this?
Yeah, I know Curry's on cheap, but surely his next won't be - that's why I was asking when he comes out.Curry has a cheap contract, only like 10 or 11m per year.
Anyways, they don't have to shed anyone, with the new NBA TV deal kicking in next season the cap will be going up between 20-30m over the next 2 seasons. Every team is going to have a ****load of cap space and Durant will genuinely be able to pick his team. As will any FA over the next few years, and that's the reason LeBron will be signing another 1 year deal.
This is why you've seen nearly every team throwing the current max at everyone and why players have been signing for money way over what they're worth (Middleton, Carroll, Harris, Knight etc etc) because these contracts are gonna be much cheaper soon enough.
The article mentioned Klay, and I didn't think that it made any sense - just wanted another perspective on it.If you knew that then why would you ask who they would be shedding? They won't even need to, and if they did, it'll be Bogut 100%
