Detroit lost to Cavs. At least they are a good team and its not a shame losing to them.I don't see Detroit winning. Maybe that's why you're taking your frustration out on Memphis. There there Dravid.

I'm mad he made that shot end of the 4th qtr, even though it didnt count.
Great win by the Cavs, LeBron is on fire atm, i think thats 5 consecutive games where he's scored 30+ points, and in those 5 cleveland have won 4.
i am a little wary of putting phoenix ahead of the spurs...they have to prove that they can beat the spurs in a playoff series before i do that...for all the suns' streaking and the spurs' plateauing off in recent times, the suns still have to prove that they have it in them to go that extra mile to grab a championship...the spurs have proved that year after year against quality rivals...Me too! In all seriousness, regular season accomplishments, while nice and something to build off, really don't matter. It's what you do in the playoffs that counts obviously. That's why I'm still wary of the Spurs. They have a heart of a champion and my money says that they'll put it together by the time the playoffs come around. I still think the top 3 teams in the West are Dallas, Phoenix, and San Antonio - in that order.

Yeah the Spurs have their annual second half surge going on. I was probably hasty in putting the Suns ahead of them. I know I would love for someone to knock them out before they meet the Mavs in the playoffs!Anyone following Spurs ? 12 win in a row.. mostly due to playing great defense.
yeah the lakers are really struggling right now, phil jackson is even talking of retiring...The Mavs win their 17th straight. In the process, they give the Lakers their worse home loss in franchise history!
yep...it's 13 now with tonight's win over the clippers...they are slowly getting to where they want to be, mr. fundamental is as solid as ever and manu is really coming into his own now.....Anyone following Spurs ? 12 win in a row.. mostly due to playing great defense.
nahhh...Mavs vs Suns right now. Should be fun!
Incidentally, the Mavs lost to Golden state day before yesterday. Shockingly, Golden State is 2-0 against us. The Warriors can conceivably be the 8th seed in the West. Ummmm, should I start worrying?
yep that was a cliffhanger....playoff intensity, all credit to the suns for hanging in there and digging it out, after the 3rd quarter, i thought they were done for.....I'm sick to my stomach after watching the Mavs lose to the Suns. Dallas erases a 16 point deficit, only to give up a 16 point 4th quarter lead themselves. Nash was bloody incredible. Sends the game into overtime by hitting an incredible 3, with less than 3 seconds in regulation time remaining. He then makes the defensive play of the game by stealing the ball off Terry in the final seconds of double-overtime. This was the most intense game I've watched all year. This one is going to hurt me for a few days.
Still not over this loss tbh. It brought back very painful memories from last year's Finals. The Mavs blew a big lead, Dirk chocked in the final minutes, Terry disappeared for large patches, Howard made a stupid mental error, and the opposition's most athletic player could score at will and was unstoppable (Amare). I can tell you that the entire city of Dallas had a feeling of unease and symptoms of nausea the next day. I know it's only one game and all, but until the Mavs prove they can win it all, this town will be snake-bitten.yep that was a cliffhanger....playoff intensity, all credit to the suns for hanging in there and digging it out, after the 3rd quarter, i thought they were done for.....
i don't think there are too many defenders that can really put the brakes on amare when he catches fire, would be tough even for the pistons or the spurs....there are some players like that....great defensive teams smother their support cast(to be fair they had two greats to deal with if you include nash but still...) and try to make them beat them alone and more often than not, one player as great as he is won't be able to take his team home all by himself....although dallas has improved their defense tremendously under avery, i don't think they are at the level of the teams i mentioned above....Still not over this loss tbh.
