AI isn't interested in ball hoging. 7 assist already and we only in the 2nd.Fusion said:So very interested in seeing how the AI and Melo dynamic will work...
sure he does average a lot of assists but are you talking about the guy who averages the most shot attempts per game in the league? i agree he hasn't been selfish so far in denver and that's a good sign for when 'melo comes back, not sure if it's gonna be so cool all the way through with two such huge scoring superstars, they both need to yield ground on the scoring and the star attention for the sake of working together plus the fact that a confrontational a.i needs to get along with a pretty confrontational coach....if they really get their act together, with a support cast of smith, camby, nene, boykins, evans, najera et al, they will be as fun to watch as the suns...but that's a really big if for me....Dravid said:AI isn't interested in ball hoging. 7 assist already and we only in the 2nd.
AI is already getting along with Karl because AI doesn't have any problems practicing with the team and he already stated he loves Karls game, and all he ever wanted to do was run run and run. He also stated that no matter what he is going to make it work between him and Carmelo, and let Carmelo take more shots during games.Anil said:sure he does average a lot of assists but are you talking about the guy who averages the most shot attempts per game in the league? i agree he hasn't been selfish so far in denver and that's a good sign for when 'melo comes back, not sure if it's gonna be so cool all the way through with two such huge scoring superstars, they both need to yield ground on the scoring and the star attention for the sake of working together plus the fact that a confrontational a.i needs to get along with a pretty confrontational coach....if they really get their act together, with a support cast of smith, camby, nene, boykins, evans, najera et al, they will be as fun to watch as the suns...but that's a really big if for me....
yeah i know, and as i said, these are positive signs, but he has never before played a secondary role in his career and it's not gonna come easy to him whatever he says, i just hope it works out....Dravid said:AI is already getting along with Karl because AI doesn't have any problems practicing with the team and he already stated he loves Karls game, and all he ever wanted to do was run run and run. Horrible. 2k series is better.AussieDominance said:I actually find NBA quite boring but bought NBA 2005 ages ago on PS2 and it is quite possibly the best game I have ever played.
What are NBA 2006 and 2007 like?
ends with 44 and 10...3 double doubles for a.i in 3 games, looking good so far....Dravid said:40 points up for AI, with 9 assists and game still 8 mins to go
Yeah but the real test begins when Melo returns. What if he has to settle for 20 and 5 from time to time?Anil said:ends with 44 and 10...3 double doubles for a.i in 3 games, looking good so far....
yes true...i don't think he'll have to bring down the number of assists though , it's how he reacts to the lesser scoring opportunities and consequently a secondary role that will be interesting....Fusion said:Yeah but the real test begins when Melo returns. So how exactly are you right Dravid?Yup you are right. Bring it to the NBA thread if you want to continue, but you know I'm right.
What bosh did this season in 19 games so far, Ewing did the same with 3 more blocks per a game, and 8 more points per a game for 82 straight games. So how exactly are you right Dravid?
But what I am trying to say is that Chris Bosh isn't in his prime yet. So we really can't judge between the two. Yes no doubt Ewing was a legend and might even achieve a place in the Hall of Fame this year, but there should be no doubt that Bosh clearly has the potential to be one as well. What bosh did this season in 19 games so far, Ewing did the same with 3 more blocks per a game, and 8 more points per a game for 82 straight games.
