India winning after the proverbial 2/3 start will be a huge credit to the middle order. Between this and the mammoth scores against Australia before the WC, they have the best batting lineup by far.
More so these two.. not the entire middle order. Iyer missed out on a great opportunity

One vs Kenya and one where he was dropped 5 times and not given a plumb LBW.
Kohli was literally dropped minutes ago. And sachin didn't even do well vs Kenya, the semifinal he's talking about is when he got a brilliant 60 odd vs SL on a pitch every other Indian batsman made look like a minefield. You nincompoop.

Despite your blinkered view, he seemed to fudge it with some regularity under pressure. See 2 WC finals as proof.
Was it a sore spot for you?
Fifty vs SL in 96 when everyone failed
Fifty vs Aus, 2011 qf
Fifty vs pak, 2011 sf

"mentally weak" lmao.

Bro Kohli was literally just put down today….that was legit half an hour ago.

1 drop vs 5 drops plus 1 plumb lbw. You Sachintards can't even calculate.

Think Indias main issue if they make the knockouts is if there top batters fail on the day and if the middle and lower order can recover and post a competitive total or not have that top order collapse at all. Because that’s been their main issue in a lot of the icc tournaments in the knockouts stages.

Happened in the last t20 World Cup their main man SKY got out cheaply and they couldn’t post a competitive total against England.Happened in the 2019 World Cup as well when Rohit was pumping out runs but got out cheaply in the semis and everyone else collapsed. Same thing with the 2017 champions trophy final.

Well that Kohli drop could have made a real difference but that shouldn't hide the fact that this is a game to be won by spin

Although dew may have played some part

Zampa hasn’t been great but I also think he came on when all the sting and momentum had shifted. Maxwell and Green bowling before him when they were never going to be much of a threat. Zampa should of possibly gotten a few overs in the power play

With the format of this WC, I expect a few batsmen to score over 1k runs in this tournament including Kohli with this start.
