I really want Bangladesh to win, but it's soured a bit by being a dead rubber for SA.

Personally I would much prefer to see Australia play Bangladesh in the quarters than the West Indies or New Zealand. Obviously they're a decent team at home and capable of a big performance on their day but they have been thoroughly average for most of the WC and are much more likely to just capitulate into a huge loss.

In terms of capability they are a significant challenge but they're by far the most unreliable of all the test nations.

They have no plan B. South Africa knew it would be 40 overs of spin and have played it well so far. Target the quicks and just take it easy against the spinners, lay down 250+, game over.

Shakib may have to bowl a lot of overs in a row here. They need a wicket pretty badly. Should have kept Shafiul on, goes for a few but can always buy a wicket.

This South African attack isn't good enough for it to be 250 game over tbh. 300? Yeah.

If Steyn and Morkel were playing I'd agree with you entirely but South Africa's strength is spinners here and Bangladesh will back themselves a bit against them.

Don't think it is like Chittagong. Still a decent wicket. The start would definitely take SA to more than 250 i presume.

don't think there's anything wrong with that, he obviously wants a Bangladesh win, and a slow and low wicket is the best way for that
