We really need another spinner. We can get away with packing the side with seam bowlers in conditions that don't suit them against sides like England and NZ but in proper games it's not going to be good enough. Agar was a bigger loss than I think anyone realised at the time. They should have flown Murphy or Kuhnemann in as soon as he was ruled out

Yeah he was but Maxwell is back next game. He, player of the tournament Zampa and the returning Travis Head will be more than good enough to bowl Australia to victory

Brook isn't replacing either Ali or Livingstone. It is straight swap with stokes. Stokes who is injured and playing like an old men, and can't even bowl. So adds no value. Brooke is young more fluent, in form and can run hard between the wickets. Brooke was the only one who looked apart against Afghanistan spinners.

Harry Brook fully fit is a worse cricketer than Ben Stokes’ injured knee.

I find the transformation in Matthew Hayden hilarious.

When playing: Arrogant, belligerent, domineering, huge aura
Now commentating: Massive dork, clumsy, excitable, sometimes gets so excited he can't get his words out

Tbh as far as transformations from player to commentator/pundit goes it's not even close to the worst - could be Michael Vaughan or Danny Morrison.

How has the attendance been this tournament so far? 35k for a World Cup game between England and Australia seems low. But I guess England have been awful and there’s little at stake so there may not have been much interest.

You can’t expect people to want to travel everywhere.

The attendances have been disappointing at the WC.

Due to its size, its obviously really tough for fans to follow their team all over the country.

But I'm surprised that more local fans haven't filled the grounds a bit more.
