How is the player going to know if it is 2.5 and not 2.49 ?

In that case the review should not be allowed. The fact that they allow it and then tell you that sorry, can't give you out 2.5 meter rule and guess what you lose your review.

Very Very Stupid rule.
It's harsh to expect them to keep track of that.. If Kallis had been 2.4 m down, he'd been given out... also had it been grazing the middle by the littlest, also it would've been out
Yes, the players should be let known about that.. there is no way of "guessing" that, otherwise they put mrkers on the pitch
You're talking small margins but it's only like trying to judge if the ball pitched outside leg or not or if it hit the batsman in line or just outside, when reviewing an LBW. If he looks a long way down they have to gauge whether or not it's worth reviewing. The rules are there, yet people still complain about it.

"how down the batsman" is being the key here.

Disagree with Dhoni's choice to bowl Zaheer out. Leave him for the last couple i reckon. Munaf and Nehra at the end is meat and drink. No Asking rate is too big in that case.

The difference between India's rollicking start and South Africa's slower one is being negated by the difference in South Africa's enterprising use of the Powerplay and India's disastrous one.

I appreciate the main debating point, my point being there are several factors the fielding captain has to weigh up when deciding to review an LBW. How far down the pitch is just one of several. When a player is a long way down the pitch, it stands to reason that it is more difficult to know where the trajectory of the ball is going with the same degree of certainty, there is a larger scope for guesswork.

Great hitting by SA, but the Indian bowlers aren't getting their lengths right, get the yorker in!

I agree.

Munaf and Nehra are gonna give away a lot of runs in the end. I hate both of them. I even hate their faces.
See.........I told you.......India is losing this one. No chance they win this. No way.
Why are you persisting in watching this game, you are already certain of the result and are clearly not enjoying it. Your posts for the last two hours have all been the same.
