Always difficult when a set batsman departs and the incoming bat has to deal with a RRR of 7.50. Kallis' role even more important now, would be most tricky for SA with two new bats at the crease. Looking forward to seeing how de Villiers copes with this situation.

This innings will define Kallis' contribution to the ODI side in a big way.
If he gets out now, it will become more tricky so he should stay for full 50 overs now. Leave the hitting to AB, JP, van Wyk & Robbie P.

This game could come down to how SA handle the batting powerplay. We saw how not to play the batting powerplay with India, if SA have de Villiers and Kallis at the crease for that period it may prove crucial. Automatically you think of the big hitters in the side to make the most of powerplay overs, but Kallis' cricket brain and ability to hit the gaps conventionally with low risk strokeplay and de Villiers more adventurous approach could be a more than useful combination.

Just wondering whether it was sich a superlative effort from the Indian openers particularly Sachin... or the pitch suddenly changed after 20th over of Indian innings
