Maxwell's hundred off 40 balls is now the fastest international hundred by an Australian. Beats Finch's hundred off 47 balls in T20i

It's also the latest anyone has come to the crease (start of 39th over) in an ODI and scored a ton.

Incredible camera work there. Barely saw the actual wicket, didn't see the appeal, then went to an ad before a single replay

EDIT: beating a dead horse but those LBWs should both have been three reds

Umpires not being very generous on these lbw's.
More like DRS being very generous in not believing the bails count as part of the stumps (an ancient hobby horse of mine at this point). There have been a ton of "umpire's call"s like that this tournament which should just be out, no questions asked.

Finchy saying that the Netherlands can't afford to just try and rebuild here, they need to keep going hard.

I think the win might be off the table now for the Dutch, they will be doing well just to not be bowled out.

And yesterday was only the midpoint of the group stage!!

Next 2 and a half weeks are either going to be the top 4 jostling to avoid India or a load of pointless matches.
If Pak beats SA on Friday and Aus beat NZ on Saturday, then things could be interesting again

Still there is a lot to play for , nobody wants to face India in the semi final if they can help it
I mean everyone outside the top 4 now probably only England or Pakistan have a chance but probably have to win all their games now. Might be pointless after another week

Has Maxwell done enough to be considered an ODI ATG?

Factoring in his batting strike rate, bowling and fielding

I know the most important stat for a top 7 batsmen of batting average is lacking but still...
Definitely , the ideal No.6/No.7 for ODI cricket
