Such a good cricket match.

Amazing that England have actually missed 3 chances during this whole collapse.

Surely too late now. Great match, but those easy 20 runs or so at the start of this partnership were crucial.

Don't know why Swann wasn't used as soon as the tail came in, when they were new to the crease and vulnerable. Well done SA for fighting back when they looked like they had thrown it away but using KP and Yardy so much was an error by Strauss. Trying to be clever has failed.

Swann's last over wasn't a patch on the way he was bowling earlier. Shouldn't have been taken out of the attack after his ninth, IMO.

This is the best game of the tournament so far.

It's also an advertisement to make pitches more bowler friendly. Too many ODI's finish with either a side running out of balls to make runs, or by making the runs. With pitches like these, you can bowl the side out before 50 overs, which is what all ODI's should be like.

Who wouldn't want to be a spinner on this pitch though? Seriously, so many near nicks, and balls that bounced, and zipped etc.

But South Africa should win. If they don't, what's that metalic chain that's used to walk dogs? A choker?

In other news, we're also seeing the consequence of being bowled out in under 46 overs. Another 15-20 runs would have been rather handy here.

Nasser Hussain WTF? 'bowled better than figures suggest'. No. He was poor. Cmon South Africa shut these Poms away.

bowlers look like they're bowling to ensure they don't bowl the losing over

Tbh, a maiden would make it interesting. Or even a 1 run over. Just to make dot balls mean that much more.
