***Official***Match #20- England vs S Africa - October 21st - Wankhede (D/N)

Norwood's on Fire
Chasing 300+ is hard

Utterly moronic again from Jos to bowl first. If our batting is our better facet of the game. Use that to our advantage.

Get a score and hopefully create some scoreboard pressure. Instead we've let the other side put us under scoreboard pressure again.
I expected us to bat if we won the toss. Stokes being there in a chase adds some confidence though

Massive surprise to see a cutaway shot of Bairstow looking sour about something there

Another reason why we should have batted first is it's sweltering hot out there now and will cool down in the second innings.
Reminds me of the Eng v SA game at Chester le Street last year played on that unusually red hot day.

We bowled first and were totally knackered when we came out to bat.

Surprised you missed all the chatter about him during the English domestic season. I think he has a lot of potential but he's very raw at the moment, and his close to the stumps style is more suited for red ball.
Quite possible that I did hear of him and simply forgot then

Yeah but the dew factor everyone keeps banging on about should still make batting second worthwhile.

Who cares if your bowlers get tired in the heat of the day and concede a score of over 350 so your batsmen are then under scoreboard pressure

How the **** do you bowl Wood’s pace and dish up a slow half volley like that? Come on ffs. Crank it up

Wood looking like cannon fodder, this pitch doesn't suit him at all with the lack of pace and bounce in it.

He looks pretty knackered too in this heat which doesn't help either.
