Kenya hardly count at all tbf. So that's four.Five, thank you very much.

Canada > Kenya.for new zealand , even canada counts
Canada > Kenya.
They are though. Finished above them in the qualifying tournament (made the final against Ireland in fact ).
There is some truth to what you say - i have seen Clarke get out using his feet stumped and also trying to go over the top so that is a sign that he got out by being aggressive. However I have also seen Tendulkar get out playing a forward defensive shot. That's how it works though. The better players of spin are the ones who are more aggressive, and seek to dominate the spinners as you say. But obviously that brings with it more risk, so you're going to get out a bit.
And then there's form. If you're having a mare, doesn't matter how good you are against pace, spin, whatever, you're going to have a bad time of it.
He wouldn't make Australia's team in any format. If you phrased it slightly differently though and said he's a better bowler than any available Australian spinner I'd agree. Maybe.Off topic, but I agree with whoever said yesterday that Balaji Rao would have a chance of making Australia's side. Looks a very decent leggie to me.
Disagree. He's decent, but way too inconsistent to make the step up.Off topic, but I agree with whoever said yesterday that Balaji Rao would have a chance of making Australia's side. Looks a very decent leggie to me.
Yeah, this is what I meant. Though I've only seen him bowl a grand total of 6 overs or so.He wouldn't make Australia's team in any format. If you phrased it slightly differently though and said he's a better bowler than any available Australian spinner I'd agree.
Australia wouldn't pick him because:
a) they don't really like picking their best spinners
c) I get the feeling he might not meet fitness requirements
none of this stopped Xavier DorethyDisagree. He's decent, but way too inconsistent to make the step up.
Doherty's not really that inconsistent; he's just got nothing.none of this stopped Xavier Dorethy
AWTA.I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your theory, but I plain don't understand the criticism Guptill receives. He averages 36 in ODIs, which is perfectly acceptable (especially for a New Zealand batsman), he just fails to go on with starts a bit. I'm sure as he progresses in his International Career, he will go on to rectify that problem (somewhat).
It's how we roll.Gawd. New Zealand crush Zimbabwe and Kenya but play like hacks against the good sides. Makes you wonder....
You + Australian selectors = fat guy haters. He wouldn't make Australia's team in any format. If you phrased it slightly differently though and said he's a better bowler than any available Australian spinner I'd agree. Maybe.

I think it is because we take the teams seriously. We kind of have to because if we don't play our best we will lose. The other top teams know they can put in a 60% effort and win. This attitude leads to mixed results.Out of all the test playing nations, I would rate New Zealand as the most efficient minnow bashers.
