Well I guess the comfort is that 339 isn't impossible - we more or less did it a few weeks ago with a middle order of Fergie, Mitch and Clarke.
Different conditions and bowling line up. Still not impossible at all. They key will be how they play against the spinners. Think, they would do get a good start against the pace men. The game starts from there.

Be interesting if England do go hard early against the quicks. Arguably the best time to bat, and will they try and get ahead of the rate before the slow bowlers come into play. Going to be really interesting.

Who rates us? Seriously, most England fans are pretty accepting of our direness in the fifty over format.
You should show some grace in losing, like Banglaesh, Ireland and other Minnows. Should be thankful to just play against the might of India!!!! It's good for your development going forward! Maybe one day you may even be able to make it out of the group stages!!!

****ing Ian Chappell with his Tendulkar baiting, "Well it's good he got one out of the way, India wouldn't want him batting slowly chasing his 100th 100 in the final". What a sore loser.
LOL!!! Hasn't he crapped enough about Sachin for one lifetime yet?.

Chappell is terrible all the time tbh. Detest his whole 'excitement' perspective of the game.

It is something of a surprise tbh. But the shoulder height full tosses tell me of someone who is very much not all there. He has a young kid that was born during the Ashes doesn't he?
Yep, she'll be 2 months old now and Jimmy's been in the same country as her for about 2 weeks of that.

I've got a 4 month old daughter and I know that if I was in Jimmeh's situation it would be eating me up inside.

Fantastic knock by Sachin and from all of our top order, we could have got 350 but I would have taken this total at the start of the day, once we bowl well we should win this comfortably.

I understand we did well, but really do you need to be so aggressive and in your face? Can't we just cool it and enjoy the game a bit?

Strategic resting a possibility? Suggested it earlier this summer when Clarke was looking like a broken man, but is it possible for him to spend a week or two at home?

England should drop Anderson and bring in Broad in his place for the next match if he recovers.
If he has been poorly for 2 days then i'd leve him out on Wednesday and give him a chance to recover properly. We should be able to beat Ireland without him and he can be fully fit for the tougher game on Sunday v SA. All depends how bad he has been but if he is still in bed today then there is no need to rush him back too soon as hopefully England will have more games than just the group stage to play.

Enjoying Ganggu's commentary. Pieto will have to fire here. Wouldn't put it past the English. Our bowling doesn't exactly reak of quality
