Got to hand it to Bravo. Must`ve been damn nervous, but did the job. Shot off Bracks was marvelous.

Poor decision from Hussey to keep bowling Symonds at the end I thought. After Bracken came on, he really should have used Clark. He had a terrible time today, but he's a reasonably accurate bowler and he'd be much harder to hit over the top than Symonds.

West Indies deserved to win anyway, so it's no great issue, but I think Clark would have had a better chance of getting the extra three wickets, or at least not being hit for six.

Hussey certainly didn't do much to set himself apart as a future captain. I guess he's the same age as Ponting anyway. :p

Well, it's more complicated.

Anyways, we just need to focus on trying to win the next two matches. Knowing our luck, they may both get rained out and kill our hopes.

well it seemed as if Hussey played a brillaint knock, if he keeps it up he will certainly end up better than Bevan. Top stuff from Haddin also, a well deserved 1st 50.

Australia weren't at their best with the ball at all, if Clark was his usual economical best Australia may just have won this match so they can take great heart from that

The experiments should be over now & all the big boys should be back for the final two games as Australia look to win the tournament. My team for the next game:

Hayden
Katich
Ponting
Watson
Symonds
Clarke
Hussey
Haddin
Lee
Bracken
McGrath

Just to keep Hussey @ 7 i'd have this team, wont play hogg since Symo & Pup can spin it but i get the feeling Hogg will play thus either one of Hayden/Katich would have to make way

Gayle and Lara finding it easy enough.
8-), yo whats it with you & this smilie, haha anyway yes Gayle & Lara batted well it seemed but looking out of all the bowlers Clark was the worst by far if he has bowled economically Australia could have won this..

Moving on to the next match between India and the West Indies, here's the lineup India should go in with.

Dravid
Tendulkar
Mongia
Sehwag
Yuvraj
Dhoni
Raina
Agarkar
Bhajji
Sreesanth/RPS
Munaf

IMO, that is our best team right now. Pathan is woefully out of form and must be dropped immediately, which also means that we can't play five bowlers. Sehwag has done well of late and Yuvraj and Sachin can provide good support, but bringing in Mongia will make more sense. Powar really should've gotten a chance but now that Pathan has ****ed up, we can't play two spinners and Bhajji is our best bowler on form. Sreesanth will probably turn in an inspired performance if he gets a chance but RP Singh was pretty impressive at times versus Australia. Toss-up there.

Sorry mate but you only get the "Hussey at 7" luxury when Gilly's keeping. Haddin for Clarke there.
