Cricketer Of The Year
Just looking at the numbers cause I was a bit confused by why klassen was batting 4 over phillips, and realized how outrageous klassen's number's vs spin this year have been. In this IPL he's got 210 runs vs all types of spinners at an average of 105 and a sr of 180. Same numbers for pacers is 136 runs, average of 28 and sr of 160. Pace numbers aren't horrible, but i'de always assumed klassen was a better player of pace then spin. The fact he's managed to dominate spin that hard in a season where his team has struggled in the middle is next level.

Edit: Just to compare that to the guys who are batting either side of him today this season vs spin: Brook 47 runs, sr of 100, average of 15.66. Makram: 136 runs, 135 sr, average of 22.3.

Klaasen’s rise to fame internationally was when he tore apart KulCha back in 2018 in a pink ODI when they looked unstoppable, he has always been a good spin player or i assumed he was one based off him destroying Chahal whenever I see them go up against each other

Markram certainly not helping his team much with that knock either.

If SRH lose this the top 3:) have a lot to answer for. Faced 50 balls between them including a majority of the PP and went at a collective SR of 95.
