it's a shame PBKS have never been able to fight for the title after all these years... And this year squad looks even weaker

it is true though, how does the mic not pic up, for instance, the sound of the spikes scraping the floor from the bowler's end ? or even background crowd noise (even though the crowd are supposed to be silent until delivery)

Let's assume for this decision, that all other microphones were silent and only the stump mic at the batter's end was on...

This should be a standard thing with decisions like this.

do you think these mics are like noise-cancelling or some sound engineers have modified the mic in some way to only produce a spike within 2m of the mic itself?
