I wont be surprised if we see big shakeups next year for SRH. Abhishek Sharma and Vijay Shankar as well as Abdul Samad, all 3 deserve better than whatever they are getting at SRH IMO.

Yes. Also, it's disrespectful to just change captains mid-seasons. SRH is following the same template it has been following for years, they are not trying anything different this year so I don't think anything falls on Warner's shoulders. Warner has these bad games every now and then, but overall, he has been a vital part of the SRH team as a leader.

It was an amazing show from Pollard there to pull MI to the win, but I think MI will still have serious trouble this year. They have been very lucky to win the two games they did win in Chennai and here it required a Pollard special and a 1 in 100 times event of Faf dropping a catch.

Its also good for CSK to lose now than continue winning everything.

Crazy to me that srh have actually dropped Warner. I thought the captaincy change was to take some weight off him but clearly that's not it. He's not even been THAT poor this season, struck at 110 so far but that's just as much down to the kind of wickets that srh have started the tournament on. Guarantee you Manish still gets in and buvi comes back when both of them massively underperforming is just as much to blame as Warner is for srh's rut this season. Massive, massive overreaction from there management.

I was wondering at the start of the season if SRH would retain Warner for next season where there will be a mega shake up for each side. Was leaning towards SRH releasing him as he is 34 now and might not give the same ROI as last five seasons.

Surprised with the mid season shake up. Both Kane and Bairstow are in better touch than Warner this season and I wouldn't have been surprised if Warner was dropped for a game or two but didn't see this coming.
