Given the way he feasts on our bowling, I will take that kind of a series for him if we are playing them in all formats. Its actually a failure.

I genuinely don't think he's aware of just how much power he has when he bats basically normally and he seems to believe T20 = has to bat like a total weirdo. It helps that he probably doesn't care that much in that regard (or doesn't help, as case may be).

It's the pitch of this venue. After the first 10 overs or so it's quite difficult to score. Remember Kolkata having a similar pitch when Gambhir had just taken over, totally unfair for players in the middle order/lower middle order who looked like total idiots with the bat.
That should be obvious to anyone and he should have been facing the first ball. Ridiculous to open with Warner and Williamson. Super dumb. Bairstow 1 Williamson 2 most obvious

Kane faced 3 balls in which 5 runs were scored, Warner faced 3 balls in which 2 runs were scored, and couldn't muster it to actually ground his bat over the line turning for two. DC win on the final ball of the Super Over.
