Whatever it takes!!!
Interesting point there about Cummins' success and ability. Seems his middle finger is a little shorter due to a childhood accident (sister slammed door on his finger or something) and this enables him to subtly alter the positioning of the seam to get it to either swing in or out with no discernable change in hold or action.

So entire Australia can think Pat's sister. :)

CSK seem to have a real problem with slow scoring. Jadeja needs to be moved up the order as he's the only one in the middle-order consistently getting quick runs but he's coming in when it's too late. And this is the second time this season they've fallen short of a reasonably chase-able target still with wickets in hand, and Bravo still to bat. Pretty sure Bravo is still there as an all-rounder so give him a chance to hit some quick runs IMO.

Narine was amazing and so was Varun but this is a game CSK lost. Not one KKR won. There is something wrong with CSK this season. Usually, it is the side for whom people like Jadhav come out to bat on one leg basically and smash 15 in the last over to win. Or Shane Watson bats on with blood oozing out of his knees to try and win the trophy for them. It is the one franchise that seems to invoke amazing sincerity and loyalty from its players and staff more than any other in any competition IMO. Yet, we saw Raina fly out coz of personal issues, Harbhajan decide not to play, then few of them caught covid and entire group went into 15 days of extra quarantine. Vijay and Jadhav have batted as if someone is paying them to ensure CSK loses. Its like they dont even care about winning. It is one thing to try and fail like MSD or Rayudu or the others did. Another to play dead bat defensive shots when asking rate is 13+. Its the same reason we are seeing MSD and Fleming lose their cool a bit too.

I think they have the nucleus of the right side though. Jadhav for literally anyone else would make this better. Most likely Rituraj. And maybe a midseason trade of someone like Rahane or even Karun Nair can do the trick.

Was just looking at a photo of the csk lineup and my God Sam Curran's arms are huge. Has he always been massively jacked or is this a new thing?

Haha folding your arms makes them look bigger. Plus he's probably flexing. Not spaghetti arms like Labu or anything though ofc, pretty respectable imo.

Bairstow has either got out for nothing or smashed it about all summer. Not much in between.

His arms look way bigger in this photo or am I just going crazy?
He's an ectomorph who's building muscle. Won't keep fat and whatever muscle he builds will look prominent. In other words, he's a lucky bastard.

Sunrisers messed this one up. 200's a good total, but they should have cantered to 230 at the least.

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
He needs to always bat top 4 for any franchise he represents. Just such a weapon.
