Shreyas Gopal must be one of the most under-rated leg spinners around...class act..always takes wickets rarely goes for many runs and a key part of Rajasthan side.... expect a lot of teams to go for him next year

I have been waiting for this for a very long time. About damn time he gets thrashed into oblivion. I don't know what it was, maybe all batsmen in the world collectively decided to be **** at playing leg spin but he got lucky for too long. Hope he's taken apart in the World Cup like an Indian spinner should be.

Chahal, Kuldeep,Gopal would be a huge spin threat in t20 cricket he should get a chance soon, especially if Kuldeep cant find his form again.

Gopal is not going to replace Kuldeep in the near future. Kuldeep has too much credit in the bank; only a Miyagi would write him off based on a few IPL games.
I think Gopal would be an improvement on players like Jadeja; better bowler and he can bat just as well.

I don't see the point of Jadeja with Hardik back. Let him be the #7 who bowls a majority of 10 overs. Jadhav is good back up too. Then you have the 2 leggies and 2 pacers.

The very fact that you have been waiting for a long time itself indicates that he rarely gets thrashed. Kuldeep is a class act, no two ways about it. Won India ODI series against Aus at home, SA and NZ abroad. I would already rate him above Kumble and Harbhajan in ODIs.

Having said that, there is no worse time to go off form than now. If that happens and he has a poor world cup, the recent IPL matches and especially that over against Moeen Ali would have played a huge part in it.

For some weird reason, Moeen Ali, just a decent player punches above his weight against India and Indian players. Most Indian fans would be sick and tired of him lol.

Yeah, Jadeja is the ultimate 12th man, his best value lies there.Not very penetrative as a bowler and not a power hitter with the bat either. Having said that, likes of Jadeja and Bhuvi add value when middle order is dismissed early,required run rate is less but quite a lot of runs to be made. Eg; Asia cup final.
