He's not hopeless. Remember in the last match, McClenaghan's ploy of bowling short to Raina backfired big time.

Its a classic case of a weakness becoming an all consuming one. He was never that good against the short ball but certainly not this bad initially. Somehow word got out that he was not that good against the short ball, people started bouncing him, he started to expect the bouncers, his off side game went to **** and now every single time he gets out to a bouncer, we will see the "here we go with Raina and short ball" comments.
