IMO his action did look suspect in slowmo, but looked ok otherwise. Hope they help the kid out. He looks like a great prospect for India.

There is pretty considerable bending and it is pretty impossible to bowl quickly with a bent arm without straightening so I'd consider that he probably is in violation of the rules. I would not be surprised if a great deal of his pace came from the straightening of the arm, I hope they help him out but I do fear that the treatment will either be ineffective or it will render him a much lesser bowler.

He's the only SA quick firing so will probably be picked for them in the WC in England.van der Merwe has at least given Bangalore something to bowl at.
Tis a shame Abdulla didn't get 5 but he now has the purple cap.
Think he's still behind Parnell in the pecking order mind.

Well aside from Steyn, he is the only one playing. Parnell (playing county cricket), Morne (bench warming) and Tsotsobe (injured).
Ntini is also bench warming but will he make the 15, I don't think so. Same goes for Kallis.

That pair is obviously considered not good enough to get a game so it's unliikely they would make the squad with the little fat guy bowling well, Steyn a certainty and with Botha and van der Merwe also looking more likely if Botha's action is cleared. Albertus and Kallis if picked will also be available to bowl the odd over with Duminy not to be forgotten.

He can be very damaging with bat and ball. Surprising that he wasn't given a go earlier. Ditto Harwood who's also very suited to this format.
