Lucknow got wickets with short of length deliveries. So then Akash Deep decided that bowlilng long hops (even 140+ ones) was the way to go for some reason. He is really not the brightest unit out there, is he?

Getting in. Without his innings lsg doesn't get to 200. Provided the platform after 3 quick wickets.
If he was in better form he probably finds it easier to rotate but he has been lacking confidence.

Yeah but it can be costly in such games.. Not sure if you saw him bat, but he was basically stroking balls straight to fielders as if its net practice.
