I hope Pietersen was finally the one to tell JFM not to bat like Johnson Charles with an agribusiness licence.

Or at least the one to get it through his pea sized brain. I'm not full of hope.

I know a lot is being and will be said about CSK struggles at the start here but their weakness in powerplay bowling options was known going in. The hope was that Ashwin would do the job but the problem is, Ash needs to bowl right up front for his most effective powerplay bowling. Even the 2nd over is sometimes too late.

Its home games for CSK everywhere in the country tbh. Closest is probably 50-50 at Bengaluru and then maybe 60-40 to them in Mumbai. And it was lot more last year with the Hardik-Rohit fiasco over there.

Its also interesting about all the discussion of home advantage. CSK came 3rd in a season held in South Africa. Won playing their home games in Pune in a last minute switch in 2018. Won playing without any home games again in 2021.

Noor,Khaleel and now seemingly Pathirana are finding their stride. Just need Ash to bowl over #1 from now and Jaddu to keep his form of today, and hopefully Curran/Overton can figure out their role. Still think CSK needs someone like a Kambhoj or Nagarkoti to be that additional fast bowling option who can bowl in the PP and at the death. Kambhoj esp. can do what Deepak Chahar did.

Cant bellieve CSK didn't go for Shardul in the auction. They could have not had one of the many left armers they picked up.

Bloody difficult. I suspect they may give it to Rana due to being Indian but Hasaranga 4 wickets of the CSK top 5 has killed an otherwise easy CSK victory.

Very tough who do you think will get it?
