They may have thought England would have shown some flexibility and allowed him to stay this week. To be fair while he has not exactly been cheap, Stokes has been a quality buy, well worth the money even though they have lost him this week.

They are paid a big chunk per game I believe, so won't hurt in that regard. Also getting to the knock outs is 90% of the battle.

Haha. It's raining cats and dogs here (in Bangalore) and SRH apparently go through on account of finishing higher in the table in case the game can't be resumed.

Since it's only the IPL, I'm finding it hilarious that they don't have a reserve day. Clowns :laugh:

Is Jordan a knockout specialist? Didn't he play last year in the final having barely played during the tournament. Hadn't played before today this year (having been out there the whole time).

Yeah somewhat crap.

Like the Sunrisers, but leaving out a massive gun like Cutting for so long was utterly absurd.

Waste of time being there anyway. I can count the number of decent games he's ever had in his entire life on one hand. Shouldn't count as an overseas players, more like a man overboard player. Play one of these and you get 20 free runs, you'll need them.
