I think his benching was somewhat understandable. He never really showed much in previous IPL campaigns and Sunrisers have in previous campaigns been lacking all rounders and lower order hitters thus his exclusion.
He and Morgan been binned last year ensured Cutting got picked who was absolutely gun especially in the final.
However this time he has absolutely nailed it when given a chance. Props indeed.

Oh yeah totally understandable why he was benched.. Just that given time he was inevitably going to wreck teams. More of a fanboy complaint rather than anything else lol

While Kane deserves all the credit in the world for bossing it when given a chance this time round, Eoin Morgan most certainly hasn't.

I know this is stating the obvious, but what exactly was Matt Henry signed for ?
Their has been numerous reminders this campaign, that their Indian contingent of bowling is nowhere near acceptable, but not once they have tried Henry, instead they have focused on loading up on oversea batsman as its worked superbly so far.
Lions had a similar strategy initially, but tbf they seen sense and started picking Tye, not suggesting Henry is as good as a t20 bowler, but ffs give him a chance.

Really? Despite literally all of his success to date coming in ODIs?

Its actually somewhat irrelevant if he is any good (he is btw!)
Why was he signed? Their Indian bowling has been awful for the most part and Sandeep was injured Yesterday which meant his exclusion even more strange. The overseas batsman have been so-so, Amla good and Maxwell and Marsh ok, but Morgan and Miller mediocre.
Awful this from Bangalore, 1.3 to chase this I think, raging I did not lay that.
