CSK always find a way to pwn RCB in the most unexpected of ways. My avatar was from last season when CSK needed 41 runs in the last 2 overs and Kohli bowled the 19th over.

Morkel hit 28 off his over and Jadeja scored a boundary of the last ball to win the match

RIP Singh

Kohli's reaction was priceless

The plane that never lift off. .. lol

Everybody knows make sure you don't bowl a no ball in this situation... First priority. .

I'm suspect of RP to be honest. .. he has not been playing much international cricket in recent times. ..

I guess it is time to move on from klutz RPS. Time for JDU, surely. The cricketer, not the political noisemaker. RCB have a very good roster of Indian domestic bowlers- Zaheer, RP Singh, Pankaj Singh, Vinay Kumar, Unadkat, Murali Kartik (and also add Mithun, coming off a good run in the domestic T20)- they surely tried hard to buy them all- and would have bought out Irfan Pathan at double the price.

The way people complain about Kings XI domestic batting is painful. They're not that bad. They've got Mandeep Singh, Gurkee Singh, Sid Chitnis and Manan Vohra, all of whom have done well at the domestic level, and are also good for T20. They've also got a capable bowling unit (not quite like Delhi/Bangalore/Pune, but still), and Praveen Kumar is getting wickets and runs. They're not managed so well. Delhi, not managed at all.

Wait, so Pune playing their best player from last year actually turned out to be a good move.

I think I need to go and lie down.

Haha yeah. Absolutely ******** how they STILL left out Smith, who was one of their best players last year. And Rossco should captain the side even if Mathews comes back IMO.

Would LOL if Smith gets dropped for Mathews for the next match tbh.

I think Ross would be lucky to keep his spot, he is horrible out of form, hope he clicks during the England tour.

What's your Kings XI? This looks strong. Actually, just swap Sathish with Chitnis and it becomes strong.

They're stuck with two very leaky spinners in Chawla and Bharghav Bhatt (who has also been doing well for his State team Baroda) but they have a decent seam-up combination. They also seem stuck with Gilchrist, struggling for form, but on song, he's a match-winner. They have more or less the right combination, but need to swap Sid Chitnis for Sathish, who adds absolutely nothing to his place in the side.

KKR's use of Rajat Bhatia is interesting. He's essentially a middle-order batsman who can bowl a bit, but KKR use him largely as a bowler. He's been up and down, and far from a strike bowler (he's played more matches than he's taken wickets, and economy also over seven, though not by much), but he seems to roll over several overs neatly. However, KKR also have Yusuf Pathan and Laxmiratan Shukla, both significantly better batsmen in the shortest format of the game (Yusuf is the big-hitter and Shukla can also turn up the scoring rate with hits and runs)- and it's absolute, given Bhatia's poor strike rate under 120. Bhatia also performs well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy with the bat. Irfan Pathan, the premier T20 all-rounder, is struggling for form and fitness, and no other replacement is in sight. Let's see what you make of it. Unless Praveen Kumar gets into the act.

EDIT: Who caught the hat-trick first?

Yusuf Pathan should leave KKR. He's not getting any chances to bowl for this team, and he bats very low down and it's affected his batting a lot. KKR missed a trick by not trading him off. Clearly, picking him for a princely sum when other players bought for less are getting bigger roles, clearly shows a flaw in their management.

So Manpreet Gony snatches the game from KKR for KXIP. Nice innings, but I'd prefer to see those runs scored by an actual India prospect, namely, Praveen Kumar.
