What was the atmosphere like? Is it more fun than they make it appear on TV? Never been to a proper match before :(
The lower tier stands were full. The new terrace stands were mostly full. Genuinely felt like I could smash a few 6s in the ground, it was that small.

"I think its somewhat unfair to Pathan. He didn't force anyone to pay him 1.9M. It was smart owners of Delhi who let likes of Gambhir, Dilshan and AB leave, so they can pay Pathan 1.9 M," says Nick.

Stephen Fleming mentioned that he did have a bit of influence on the bidding, so you'd think most of the coaches did.

Can't see Delhi defending this. Bangalore would have to bat pretty poorly, which they seem to do quite often  But Delhi's bowling is weak.

Can't recall seeing him at the auction. Dunno though. But honestly why were teams bidding that much for Irfan? Really odd

Worst teams tbh, they'll both find a way to lose this.

Unless Gayle tons up again this is a coin flip.

1.9 million for Irfan is lolworthy. On exactly what basis were they tempted to bid so much?

Dilshan is having a **** IPL BTW. Seems his mind's already on national duty and captaincy, can't blame him.

Csk's bowling is where its at this season. Dougeh, Southee and Morkel along with AshWIN! We will win the championship again.

A genuine Indian allrounder is a mouthwatering prospect for most teams, unfortunately Pathan always promises far far far more than he delivers.

Far.
