Found that weird to be honest. National duty i can understand but IPL?
Depends on how bad his father's condition is. While cancer is never good news it might not necessarily be immediately life threatening. If it was an early stage one there is little he could do by returning ASAP.

As for National Duty - **** that, these people are entertainers, no lives are hanging in balance if they forsake their duties.

Lol @ Sehwags dialog delivery ... it almost seems like a kid who has memorized his answers and is reciting it for the schoolmaster - inflection less rapid-fire delivery. Like the dude!

I know they are entertainers.. But getting in to the national team is a long cherished dream and I expect they'll feel a greater sense of loyalty to the national team.

Surely he will replace Smith next game. He is fielding.
Seems likely. Pandey's out for one more game. Once he's back, it should be Pandey and NMac in, while Smith and one of the Indian players sit out.

Top stuff from UV, but Delhi just managed to pull that off at the end. So all teams have wins now I think, and everyone has a loss too.

Oh absolutely. Lot of fathers in similar situation would tell their sons to keep playing and sons would too - I can totally see that.

I was reacting against the notion of national "duty" to play in such circumstances.

Anybody else hate the way the cameraman always tries to peer up the cheerleaders shorts? Disgusting!

I am a tit man myself and would love some overhead shots. :D

Warne is definitely gone senile. How dare he prefer Amit Gajanan Paunikar over Rahul Dravid?

I might be doing him an injustice though, if Dravid is injured.

Dravid has been Crucial for RR so far. Missing him today i think.

And why are RR playing the likes of Fazal,Raut and Paunikar ahead of Taylor and Rahane in the batting order and ahead of Asnodkar is strange.
