Missing the point completely. It's not about whether the pitch made a difference to the result, it's about corruption and the fact that RR were not allowed their natural right to choose their home-ground pitch to their choosing, but rather may have been ordered to by a higher up in the administration who just happens to have strong links to the other team. It's basically rigging the match.
As far as i am concerned, the home ground advantage in such a tournament is a bit overrated. Yes, the crowd support plays a part. But most of these Indian domestic batsmen would know how to play whether on belters or slow/low wickets. So shouldn't really matter. Comparing the strengths of these teams i don't think there would have been any manipulation required. Think the pitch is the after effect of the complaints made by other teams regarding the previous matches played in this ground. Though agree it would be wrong if chennai tried to do the manipulation to get the pitch they wanted. But i really doubt if that would have happened.

Adam Gilchrist on being hit by Malinga;

Quote Unquote | Cricket Quotes | Cricinfo Magazine | ESPN Cricinfo

He's come of age I think, and I have just aged. I have never been hit on my head before.
heh, distinctly remember Gilchurch having his clock cleaned by Allan Donald in a tour match a few years back. Remember it because it was the quickest, nastiest bouncer I'd ever seen.

Obviously it hit him really hard.

Has anyone seen the new Rajasthan Royals Standard Life ads? I've seen them over a year in IMAX, and felt they were too artificial, rehearsed and put together, but the entry of Dravid makes a huge difference. I love the new Jerseys ad. Once Warne leaves Jaipur, Dravid should get full control of this squad, ideally.
