Sri Lanka made Black Caps looks world beaters. But they seems to have lot of areas to improve
Yes, there's still a lot of room for improvement. We've failed to put any real pressure on India at any stage of this series. Totally outclassed in all departments so far.

Tried all our options yet? Neesham is our savior now ala McCullum from 15 sc.
Can't stick with the same XI and expect different results.

India haven't broke a sweat this series and have still dispatched us with ease.

They're talking about Young on commentary so that surely means he's close to getting a game.

Right now I don't know what to do about the bowling. It'd be good if like Howsie said the World Cup is decided by teams taking early wickets, but even our best like Boult and Ferguson struggle for early wickets on the ODI pitches we get most of the time, and will probably get in England.

More than anything this series just shows that the bit-part players aren't going to do it for us against the very top teams, we need huge performances from Guptill, Williamson, Taylor especially.

Fair play India, congratulations. Too good. I think munro has been a revelation during this series... Bring in young or worker

I'm resigned to us going out in the round robins.

I'll be good as long as we finish 5th/6th. That's reasonable considering our current level, any lower and it should be considered a failure.

We simply don't have the talent or resources to do well against the top teams.

Doug Bracewell just isn't international quality sadly enough, he's the definition of bit's n peices.

I think the thing that annoys me the most about his selection though is that he's probably CD's fourth best bowler behind Seth Rance, Adam Milne and Ben Wheeler and while he might not quite be there just yet Blair Tickner has a lotttttttttt more going for him. I've always been a fan of Rance, I think as a white ball bowler he has a lot going for him. If he got a decent run in the side he might surprise a few people. Good with the new ball obvs and an excellent death bowler. Doubt New Zealand ever gives him a proper look however.

He had good economy in the previous game, but Sodhi has given Todd Astle a huge chance to book a place to the CWC. I like the 5 bowler (2 spinner) strategy and Astle - Santner at 7-8

Yeah I mean Bracewell's far from the only passenger but I just don't get what the point of his selection is...ever. He's just not international standard and never will be.

Tbf can we put together a team of proven international standard players?

Keep Smithy happy, or maybe sad I don't know....

What happened to Bracewell right there is what I expect to happen to a 5th bowler combination of de Grandhomme and Neesham against good teams. That's why you need to go into games with five proper front line bowlers.
