I don't really see the point in carrying on with Cook. Hope he can get tap on the shoulder.
Frankly both openers getting us to 50 odd is a good result given they are shite but Jennings is so bad. How on earth can an opener who has spent his career at Durham play at that ball? Was a nothing delivery. Actually quite a bad ball.

Not that it mattered in the end but I’m pinning the dropped catch mostly on Pant. His weight was headed legside at the nick then had to dive left and was never going to make it. So even though Pujara’s effort was pretty bad, having Pant dive across him wasn’t much of a help. The ball was dying so, ideally, that’s a keeper’s catch.
