*Official* India Tour of England 2018

Dhawan in whites always looks like a walking wicket. Could have sent in Rahul to open and then have Dhawan at 3. Both Jimmy and Broad prefer bowling at left-handers.

It's what happens when your captain is low test and can't even grow a full beard.

Kohli would only agree to such a review because he's crazy.

Looks like a nice track to bat on right now. Might become hard to time shots later in the test as it gets slower. Classic indian pitch.

England are pitching it up between good-length and full. Inviting the drive. Only a moment before Dhawan fishes at one. Or is cross-bat to an incoming delivery and misses the line.

Dhawan was dropped last test of the previous series and is now back again. Same happened with Sharma repeatedly. Even Raina played a test. It's crazy.

Problem for England is that their third bowler is a new ball swinger. With Anderson and Broad almost guaranteed to take the new ball...the third seamer needs to be someone who can bowl a lot of overs, keep it tight, perhaps have some extra pace to trouble the batstmen in the middle overs etc.

Broad looks to have no rhythm. See off Anderson and there's Curran, Rashid and Stokes (and a bit of Root). Here's a real chance for India to bat 5 sessions here and get a huge lead

England seem to have this problem a lot, but surely there was better than Curran.

Yes. Was a bit surprised to find no one of the likes of Plunkett or Wood. Maybe they underestimated the opposition batting lineup enough to think they won't need a 'keep-it-tight', containment kind of a bowler.

They need an aggressive bounce bowler ala Wagner or Morkel who can intimidate. Easier said than done though
