After the first two tests, this wicket is quite a let down; especially after all the hoo-ha that people had made about it.

Adil Rashid is getting better with every over that he bowls. Though he still bowls one poor ball per over.

I would have played Curran. I would have played an unchanged side and let the dust settle on the Stokes business.
Very true but they seem to always go with the celebrity star than the rookie... Who may have added something but definitely wants to prove himself.

And you'd have been right. Stokes not match fit after spending a week and a bit in court. Four RMF bowlers different versions of the same thing if a couple of the batsmen actually get in. The decision to bowl first isn't looking too clever, either.

I'd have given Stokes Jennings' place - he couldn't do any worse, and at least Lancs would get Jennings for tomorrow and Surrey wouldn't have Curran

The debutant Rishabh Pant is one lucky guy; couldn't have asked for an easier wicket to bat on, or to keep on. Cry, Karthik, cry!

True.

Others were saying that it couldn't get tougher than this debuting against Broad and Anderson at Trent Bridge.
